ABOUT THE ARTIST
Covering, clearing, recovering, working the layers that's the essence of the work of Cécile Durand-Mignard. And that's what drove her towards the street. After having searched and tested different materials, she started to develop a crush for the spray can, followed by stencil and collage. "I'm not into the totalitarianism of the wall, if people don’t like it, they can remove it, there is a certain humility in collage." Accusatory portraits, criticism of the consumption society, the artist speaks about our time and its issues.
